Singer-songwriter and guitarist Elliott Barker is a free-lance musician and composer in Los Angeles. Formally lead singer-guitarist in The Petes (2004-2008), he wrote almost all of their hit songs, including "Little Fishy". The Petes performed regularly throughout Southern California at Hard Rock Café, The Knitting Factory, The Troubadour, The Roxy, El Ray Theatre, private parties and other events, and in the summer of 2008 did a month-long cross-country tour. Currently lead singer and bassist for The Pinkstons, Elliott continues to crank out new tunes, including film and documentary scores.

Elliott Barker’s theater experience includes: performances as ”Crookfinger Jake, Beggar,” Three Penny Opera, CSUN Theater Dept. production, Fall, 2006; Cast (“tribe”) member (singer and dancer) in CSUN Theater Dept. production of the musical Hair; also playing electric guitar, Spring 2006; Appeared as “Benny Southstreet” in Guys and Dolls, Crescenta Valley High School, 2005 (7 shows); appeared as “Paul Barringer” in Up the Down Staircase, Fall, 2004 (7 shows); Sang the “Russian Aria” in Fiddler on the Roof, Spring 2004 (7 shows) and various parts in cast. He also has four years experience singing a cappella in a chamber choir. He graduated from Crescenta Valley High School in June 2005 where he was National Honorary Thespian Society member. He was a participant in the Summer Workshop with the Monks of Solemnes, France, on history and performance practice of Gregorian chant in 2004. and participated in the Summer Shakespeare Workshop, A Noise Within (theater company), Glendale, California, summer 2002 (a production of Twelfth Night).In the fall of 2008 he went to Shanghai, China as part of CSUN Theater Department production of Houdini. He graduated in December 2009 from CSUN with a B.A. in Theater.
He has also appeared in the films of Nick Coro, including False Perceptions and the music videos "Edith" and "Dancing in the Dark". He has his own film production company, ElBar Media and his audition reel in on YouTube.com. He is currently working as an Assistant Director in feature film production.
